Vastly gifted with an attractive demeanour suitable for North Indian Classical Dance - Kathak, Shalini indeed casts a spell on audience during her performances. It is her ability to infuse the beauty in whatever she creates with her graceful dance movements and intense expressions. Her style of dancing is full of life and endowed with sensitive lyricism.

Shalini  is a Kathak artist of the Lucknow Gharana and learnt Kathak under the esteemed guidance of Guru Munna Shukla Ji and Guru Rani Khanam Ji.  She has performed in numerous festivals and events organized in various countries.  She is also an 'A' grade artist of Doordarshan and an empanelled artist of ICCR.
